For many UON graduates, our residential halls were home during their university years.
With so many students living in close proximity, life at on campus has always been about building strong bonds between residents. It’s more than a place to live but a lively community which builds confidence and social skills while striving for academic success.
As the oldest College at University of Newcastle Edwards Hall, or ‘Teds’ as it is affectionately known, will host the first ever UON residents reunion event on Friday 23 October 2015.
Dr Mike Blackmore, former Edwards Hall warden, as well as current student residents and fellow resident graduates will have the opportunity to reconnect, reminisce and rediscover at those dining tables once more.
Edwards Hall Reunion Breakfast is part of Alumni Homecoming – a celebration of 50 years of UON, of late night study sessions, of forging lifelong friendships and of flying mortarboards. Come back to campus, to where it all began, at Alumni Homecoming, 21 – 23 October 2015.
Attendance to Edwards Hall Reunion Breakfast is free, but you will need to register your attendance.
How long has it been since you saw your resident friends? Gather them together and make the most of Alumni Homecoming.
