Mine Rehabilitation Conference 2014
The fourth annual Best Practice Ecological Rehabilitation of Mined Lands 2014 Conference is on in Singleton on Thursday, 25 September.
Organised by the Tom Farrell Institute for the Environment (TFI), the conference plays a significant role in the Hunter Region, providing an important avenue for TFI to promote the use of best practice approaches in the management of rehabilitation of mined lands.
Approximately 200 delegates are expected at this year’s conference, making it one of the largest mining rehabilitation conferences in Australia, exploring the best in the science and practice of mined land restoration to achieve the best in biodiversity outcome. The conferences regularly attract an audience of miners, environmental professionals, government representatives, research scientists and interested people from the community.
Registration is $155 (Industry, Government and Others) or $55 (Students, Concession Card Holders).
